Darlington - Among those here to attend the funeral of Mrs. Martha Saidla were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Long; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brannigan; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Saidla, Crawfordsville; Mr. and Mrs. John Saidla, Winamac; Mr. and Mrs. George Spahr, Frankfort; Mrs. and Mrs. Marvin Cooper, Russellville; Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill and family, Peru; Mrs. Orval Mahoy of Lafayette and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cox of Shannondale.

Mrs. Martha A. (Wilson) Saidla, 89, widow of Joshua Saidla, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Cooper. Lifelong resident of Montgomery county, she married Jan. 21, 1871 her husband died in March, 1929. She was a member of the Methodist church and Order of Eastern Star. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Cooper, here; Mrs. Stella Spahr, Frankfort and Mrs. Bessie Long, Crawfordsville and a son, John Saidla, Winamac.

Friends may call at the Cooper home where services will be held Friday at 2 p. m.; Rev. C. P. Shulhaver and Rev. A. L. Miller officiating. Burial in Green Lawn cemetery. Brainard, Butler and Russell, funeral directors.
